Dr. Gill
Dr. Garry G. Gill, DMD, FRCD(C), Dip. ABOMS, FADSA, Dip. NDBA is a dual boarded certified specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He graduated with his dental degree from the Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. During dental school, Dr. Gill completed an externship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans that further sparked a deep interest in the surgical aspect of dentistry. He then completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University in California, where he obtained a vast array of experiences including, wisdom teeth extractions, anesthesia, dental implants, bone grafting and reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, facial trauma, oral pathology, and TMJ surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Gill completed rotations in anesthesia, general surgery, cosmetic plastic surgery, vascular surgery, otolaryngology (head and neck cancer), ICU, microsurgical training, and internal medicine.
Dr. Gill is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He also is a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He currently holds a dental license in British Columbia and Washington State. Dr. Gill also carries certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He has lectured many times on topics such as anesthesia, medical emergencies, oral pathology, dental implants and grafting.
For the past three years, Dr. Gill was in a full-time group private practice at Washington Oral Surgery in Everett, Washington while maintaining a part-time associateship in Vancouver, BC.
Dr. Gill was born and raised in the Fraser Valley where he spent his childhood years on the blueberry farm his family still operates. He attended the University of British Columbia where he received his Bachelor of Science and where he also met his wife, Reena. Together they are enjoying their return to the Fraser Valley.
